Project Background and Challenges

The client's application faces high gas costs and slow transaction confirmations on the mainnet, seriously affecting user experience, and hopes to migrate to a dedicated L2.

Customers require that, while inheriting mainnet security, the cost of a single transaction and confirmation delay be reduced to acceptable limits. The core challenge lies in optimizing sequencers for high-frequency transactions and bulk data submission strategies—saving costs without sacrificing decentralization or data availability.

The scope we undertake

L2 network setup (based on Rollup framework), sequencer optimization, batch commit policies, bridging with mainnet, and application migration support.

Key technical decisions

Decision 01
Rollup framework selectionvsvs Developed from scratch
Adopting a mature OP Stack framework reduces technical risks, shortens delivery cycles, and retains customization capabilities.
Decision 02
Sequencer optimization
Optimizes sequencers based on customer business characteristics to reduce transaction latency and enhance user experience.
Decision 03
Bulk submission strategy
Balance the cost of data availability with the degree of decentralization to find the optimal balance.
